Frequently Asked Questions

1. How long will it take to get my goods - Handbooks, CMC Files, SOPs or Journals?

Most orders are shipped within 3 - 4 business days from the actual receipt of the payment via PayPal or US Bank Draft confirmation.

Handbooks are 100% insured via registered airmail or courier for shipping as this is the most economical means. Once shipped from the closest depot it usually takes between 3 - 10 business days to most parts of the world.

2. Shipping Levels

Please note there are four levels of shipping. Normal, Priority, Fast Tract and Expedited Shipping. Expedited orders for "Second Day" and "Next Day Air" shipping, are also business days only.

LIG will electronically process your purchases, free of any country salestax / GST / VAT / local or any custom taxes etc. in either the China India Israel Ireland UK, IOM, USA, RSA.

LIG's policy is not to ship editions just going out-of-date. The latest editions hot off-the-press will always take shipping priority. This LIG policy is never violated especially when new editions are about to be published. Out-of-date editions are totally withdrawn and discontinued approximately three months prior to any new edition publishing date.

3. What if an item is out of stock?

99% of our titles are in stock all the time and can be shipped within approx 7 days of payment.  In the event that a specific handbook is on backorder or a new edition is about to be published, then shipping will be delayed, we will send you an e-mail to notify you that you will be receiving the most current edition. Clients may view all new handbook editions or temporary out-of-print editions volumes.

International shipping is standard as our publishers are in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. It costs up to USD $49/part volume per insured, global priority mail handbook of ~4.5 kg weight which represents the current average handbook volume.

LIG will process your purchases, free of any country salestax / GST / VAT / local or any custom taxes etc. from our shippers in either the China, EU, UK, India IOM, Singapore, Switzerland, USA, RSA, Israel or Ireland.

On request we will provide you an exact invoice quote, based on an e-mail inquiry, prior to shipping. Your final invoice/receipt will show exact costs.

Your receipt will reflect the actual air shipping cost at the time of weighing and air shipping to the different postal zones. Please note that shipping and insurance estimations may change marginally from time to time, as postal rates change, and may differ from the initial e-mail quotation.

All shipping is priority post, first class air mail - and the parcel is insured for a 100% replacement, if lost or damaged..

If you intend to return an unopened, unused handbook, you must first contact us for return and shipping instructions.
